Trading Up in April?

I'm just throwing this out here because the coaching staff, among other things, is unsettled. One thing for everyone to keep an eye on is owner Steven Ross. From what I've read about him, (to me) he seems to be interested in making the Dolphins like a Hollywood-type of team with all his movie stars/singers and all. He's not Al Davis or Jerry Jones or even Mara - he is not football-oriented. He's a financial genius but I hope he has someone to talk to over the next several weeks with a football background.

Anyway, with free agency and the signings and the combine still yet to come, hopefully we could add two or three strong players that fill a great need. Another OL, TE, RB. But this crossed my mind and I'd like your opinions, please. We are probably drafting anywhere from 15 to 18 or so. Depending upon who (QB) is left, what are your opinions as to trading our 1st plus a couple of players, rather than our 3rd pick. Players like Crowder, Carey, Bell.

I wouldn't hesitate to trade Brown if we could get a 2nd or 3rd. We could pick up a fresh set of legs easily. There's several players I would put out there, including Quentin Moses, Philip Merling, Benny Sapp. You all know that there is going to be a massive change in our roster next season. I'm all for us going up to grab a QB this year. It would show us (the fans) that Ireland (?) and company are angry and aggressive.

We could easily draft another lineman and Garner will be back although he is a great "sixth man" off the bench. I wouldn't miss Carey and now would be the perfect time to trade some of these guys. New England's trade of Moss was perfect timing and that's what we need.

Can't get any worse. Young hungry college guys are what we need in addition to the veterans now. I'm for trading up. What say you.
