Yesterday's events have still left a bad taste in my mouth. So, I we relive the good times,....join me if you will. 

I got up really early (5:30AM) and started milling about slowly. Hair, make-up, & breakfast completed before 8, and we where on the road by 8:15. The last two weeks I passed on the stalking, but I did drive by where the players were parked to see if I could score any quick photos or autographs on my way out. The way I looked, I'm hard to miss. And as I drove by I pass this truck with one of my favorite current Dolphins. I started pointing, and rolled down the window,..."Channing,....sign my ball ?". Sure he said. We each hopped out of our rides, then it stuck him. You know me I said,...."awww,....Griff. What's up baby ?". Too funny, we chatted for about 5 minutes. Say what you will, But I like the guy. 

Everybody gathered at our normal spot before we headed in the stadium for our "practice". Here is part of The Deep End Crew, The Phinstones.

During the game, we got our own little chant. My man, next to the Phinstones, starts it with a "WE GOT SOME FINS OVER HERE !",...the group responds with "WOOT, WOOT !" 3 times over. It was after this pic that I started a new version. "WE GOT SOME CAMERAS OVER HERE !" ,...the group responded, "CLICK, CLICK !". It seems every 5 minutes or so when out tailgating some random fan rolls up and wants a group pic, hence the new chant...

Instructions for the halftime events were simple and over fairly fast.  I was running all over, goofing and having a blast. All the while most others were standing around like statues. Let the photo-op begin !!!

Once back in the parking lot, I got stopped by this custom Dolphin RV. Here I had to pose for like 10 different photos. No problem,....but I told the gal I coming back to have her touch up my make-up as we joked back & forth. She agreed as i'm sure she thought I was joking. I wasn't,....

She did a great job, but here is the funny part of the story. Her man was a huge dude, that was not too keen on the idea at first. She took me in the Rv and sitting there watching TV was an older couple and the one & only "Crash" Jensen. He too looked at me kind of cross,....at first. My excellent people skills did not fail me as we where invited back anytime. 

Probably my Wifey that got us the return invite. 

We took our seats around 12:15 and ready to cheer our Dolphins !

Warm-ups,...

It was here that Jeremy, from Toronto, Canada, rolled up on me. "You're Ohiofinfan" he said. "I read The Phinsider everyday but never post". We gabbed for about 5 minutes where I told him grab a screen name and start commenting. You've just been called out my Northern friend,...and now your face will be shown to the masses !

I have to go back in time here with my story. I met up with another Phinsider as well this day. Phintastic (Larry), whom I met at the 1st game of the season up in Buffalo was also there. I was all over the place on this day and when he arrived I had misplaced Wifey, so I didn't spend much time with him or get a pic. Here he is from the Buffalo trip in the Dansby,...

Back to yesterday,....

Yesterday was windy !!! I told somebody before the game started,...."that ball is going to sail on Henne once or twice today". I wish I was wrong :(

We headed down mid 2nd Q, with the score 10-10. Here I'm almost there,...

She was blocking my view,...

So were these gals too ! Tough watching Bess score through a crowd of cheerleader,....real tough. 

The moment came & went, and now it was time to head back to The Deep End,...

We all witnessed the meltdown,....so I'll let others speak to those issues. We as fans deserve better, in my opinion !

I sent pics of my adventures into the Dolphins via "I was there". I made into the program for the 4th time yesterday. But John got himself a full page !!! Here we celebrate his achievement and that wasn't a submitted photo !

What happens next week,...nothing would surprise me. And there is only one thing I am sure of,.....I am a Dol-Fan for life ! And, I'm glad this train-wreck is almost over,....
