Hey guys. Its been a while since I posted, but here it is. Let me start off by saying that even though this team was solid and very good, this wasn't a true playoff team. There's still concerns offensively. Think about this: The defense was terrible in 2009; haven't we seen marked improvement in 2010? The defense ranks in the TOP 10. Yes, the players have failed to corral many game changing turnovers and picks, but the job Mike Nolan has done here cannot be overstated.
If anything, the downfall of this team has been the offense, in particular, the play selection of Dan Henning. So, many times, you've watched ur screen and see on 3rd and 15, Chad Henne goes under center with an I-formation (lets say a fullback and tailback behind him). First of all, how much would you be willing to bet that the play was going to be a pass, and maybe a 5 yard hitch pass, which gets them back to the original line of scrimmage, WHOOPEE!!!
Wildcat, please, be gone already! That cost the team last week versus the Bills. Anyways, thats my take. I still love this team. I'm confident they will hit greatness. It's like me. I just graduated with an Associates Degree in IT. I have some experience, mostly in school, but I haven't truly been around the game, if you will. I have raw talent, but it needs to be developed. I've had my ups and downs, but i will get there in 2011.
so will the dolphins
