NUMB.........

Well I went to the Jets/Miami game yesterday (I am a Virign when it comes to actually viewing live games) and must say it was a great experience in that the Dolphins won. I will also say that for some odd reason I sort of expected us to win and never was as nervous as I would have been at home watching from the TV (hence my title "Numb"). The Miami Fan base was outstanding at the stadium also. I loved listening to the Jets fans talk about the playoffs and how they were going to have a fish fry and squish the fish before the game. Afterwards and during  the game the talk went to how their team sucked and who was our punter and what are we feeding his leg. I loved how Channing Crowder was loose and mocked the Jets with the Jet Celebration imitation......... just wish he would've did a crash landing or something at the end of it. I also saw Sean Smith playing loose and dancing to the music during commercial breaks. It looked as if the team was just having fun and that seems to be the winning formula right now.

I will say that I am proud of the Dolphins and who they are and represent as a team. It was sickening watching Jason Taylor get the Fumble Recovery and then thought it was funny how they sent him out there for the coin toss again this game. I guess they try as much as they can to get in our heads, but I knew Wake was waiting this game to explode on Sancheese. I don't know why all the hate for Henne or Sporano comes from, but IMO the Dolphins did what they had to do to get the "W" and thats good enough for me. Yes I am sure everyone would like our team to be and play flawless, but its what makes this game so exciting. After sitting in the rain and having to put up with the loud and cranky Jets fans all night, I am ok with how Henne played (nothing pretty, but good enough for the win) and seeing with my own eyes that MOST of the time there really was nobody open for Henne to throw to or a hole for Ricky/Ronnie to run through. I am just excited that we won and I hope we continue with this feeling next weekend (I'll be once again at the house with a beer and TV loud as if I was in the stadium and wife yelling for me to lower it.............but I won't!)
