Coaching Staff – past time to STEP UP
We are currently 1-5 at home this year…. WOW 1-5 – that’s a horrible job of coaching in my opinion.
I don’t want to hear any crap about our tough opponents "at home" - Our road record proves we have a good amount of talent, and somehow the team plays better on the road. I will give some credit here to the staff for the road wins – but we were never "outstanding" in these road wins…. Never.
We jumped out to a 2-0 start on the road – and then got drilled at home by our 2 biggest rivals… in our house too. We were unprepared for both games and the coaches made many mistakes – like kicking off to the Jetsafter we won the toss. If you are a power run team – you need to play from ahead – even if it’s only a 3-0 early lead. Don’t dig yourself an early hole…. The 70’s dolphins tool the ball and enforced their will on the opponent right away. This team is not good coming from behind.
Last week’s loss to CLEVELAND was just another inferior job preparing this team at home to win. I am still looking at YOU Dan Henning. So can we finally have a GAME PLAN that works for this offense at home ? Enough with the WILDCRAP …..Can we play aggressive, and throw early DOWN FIELD ? Can we actually LOOK for Brandon Marshallin the RED ZONE ? Can we be LESS predictable ? Can we throw a few quick SLANT routes…. I doubt it.
Tony simply has to figure out a way to win these next 2 at home – and by more than a field goal. If not – If he loses one more game to a lesser opponent this year – he should be fired and we move on. We all know Henning must be fired – but Tony has stood by and watched this all go on. Losing at home cost the franchise a lot of money, just go to a game and look around if you don’t believe me. The owner shouldn't tolerate this anymore. These are very WIN ABLE games at home….now STEP UP coaching staff…. And you too 2010 Miami Dolphins.
