I would like address a few points this week.

First of all, for all those not just drinking but chugging the hatorade, let us not forget that we just beat the Jets in New Jersey. Our defense handled them and we are still in the playoff hunt. This is meaningful December football. Cherish it. We all yearn for it. Ask any lions fan. Remember those years when we were out by week 12 or before, we are playing games that matter and its week 15 people. YAY for us.

The future of our running game is not as bad as people think. Do we need a need O-line and new rbs? NO!! I’m sorry for those who can’t see this, but Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are two quality running backs. Ronnie is just 29 and due to injuries, so rest sort of, a very young 29. We should be drafting a late round guy, who hopefully has some speed. I place the blame of our running troubles on the interior of our o line. Berger should be on our team next year, but as a back up. Last year he filled in nicely when either our center or guards went down. However, he simply cannot start. John Jerry is a big guy and I think he will get better. Remember he was a third round pick not Iupati in the first. Incognito has not been the beast I saw him as, but he’s not so bad. I think we could again resign him as depth. Im all for the boring pick of center in the first round.

Chad Henne. I am a full supporter. Shoot me down. Kick me off the site. I don’t care. The guy can play and has shown that. Does he perform every week? Absolutely not. Draft a qb with the first pick of the second round. Sit him the first year. Have him start his second and third year. Yes this is the chad henne story, but roll back the clock and see that oddly enough Drew Brees, first pick of the 2nd round, sat first year started 2nd and 3rd. What did the chargers do, they draft manning/trade for rivers. I would love to wait on henne for one more year. Henning will retire at the end of the season and we can get a new oc and hopefully put something together. Give the kid a break and see that it does take time for qbs to develop. Also, when people talk about his mobility. Are you guys forgetting that he was almost put on the IR for a knee injury. Remember these facts. Give the kid more chances. He is now 13-11 as a starter. That really isn’t too bad. Also, consider that we traded camarillo (could be a mistake now) and hartline is injured.

Third, look at our defense. I was a bit skeptical about Starks moving to NT, but with the odrick injury Soliai has played fantastic inside. Now with Starks, Langford, Odrick (next year), merling, and mcdaniels, our front 3 are looking great. Crowder and Dansby make a hell of a team and wake is absolutely incredible. Koa will develop and where is Quentin Moses getting his new motor from. In our young, very very young secondary we have vontae a lock down corner, sean smith who needs some stick em, and clemons is getting better every game. Reshad jones has the ability to take over for bell in the coming years. With a young exciting defense and a few problems on offense how are we not excited about this team. And gotta love Fields and DC Money.

Lastly and firstly,

WE ARE STILL IN THE PLAYOFF HUNT

LET’S BEAT THE BILLS, LIONS AND PATRIOTS AND FINISH OFF A GOOD SEASON

Tonight: LET’S GO TEXANS
