Free Chad Henne?

Stay connected for news and updates

So the Free Weezy movement is now over and the Free Chad Henne movement has begun.

Chad Henne... the Dolphins QB is a polarizing figure among Finz fans.

Is he the real deal? Or is he a game manager who has already reached his max potential?

Does he fit the criteria of a great QB?

  • Arm Strength - ELITE
  • Accuracy/ Touch throws - MUCH IMPROVED
  • Leadership - Better than Mark Sanchez, IMPROVING
  • Decision Making - ???????????????????????

Those question marks piss me off. We just don't know yet! Why? Cuz our coaching staff are a bunch of pussies!
It's time for them to FREE CHAD HENNE.  No more conservative max protection plays! If Chad Henne can't get the ball out quick enough with two above average offensive tackles, we need to know! I'm tired of those two receiver passing plays! It doesn't matter how long you a give a quarter back in the pocket, 2 receivers, versus 4+ guys in the secondary, are NOT gonna get open!

Chad Henne has a cannon arm, but we never attack a defense deep. We have a solid running game but we never use it to set up a deep playaction... rather an end around is our "big play."

Davone Bess in the slot could put up stats better than Wes Welker if we used Henne's arm to stretch the field.
I understand Chad Henne has barely started 20 games, but I also see Sam Bradford, Matthew Stafford, and Josh freeman being allowed to play without being chained and whipped like Henne is.

So the point of this seemingly pointless rant is to ask you this question:

Would you rather win, at best, 10 games this year with a slight chance at wildcard spot by playing Henne like we are now?

OR

Would you rather see what Chad Henne is capable and risk the rest of our season?
