After reading LeftCoastFinFan's post about playing like we want it, I remembered a great post I read about the optimal time you should go for it on 4th down. It took me a bit to remember where I found it, but here is the link. It is well worth the read, if not only for the graphs provided.
As you will eventually see, it was not the best call. However, there are more times a team should go for it on 4th than most would think.
