Hello Fellow Fin Fans!
It is no secret that I have been in favor of starting Tyler Thigpen over Chad Henne since we acquired “Thiggy”. He started off rusty, but had a very impressive drive that sealed the deal for us, with a red zone TD! We gave Chad Henne his chance, why should we not support Mr. Thigpen? The offense seems to have a “spark” when Thigpen is playing. I honestly think he could be a very good player, and maybe even lead us to the play-offs, with a couple other teams losing. I am in NO WAY crowning him “Our Savior” but he is #14 since we all know who, maybe Henne just had the un-lucky chance at being the 13’th since we all know who. I am upset at what happened to Chad Pennington, but he did complete what was possibly his last NFL pass, didn’t he? Now, there is not much of a reason to run the “Penne Offense”. If Thigpen fails, I will eat it, but shouldn’t we all support him this week? I have seen people say “well, he done good because they didn’t game plan for him.” He is a Miami Dolphin the last I checked, and why not support our players? Also, I am on the “fire whomever is our medical personal” bandwagon. Great win! Weird but great game!
