As many of you I have been a fan for more than 15 years, I clearly remember Marino, Clayton, Duper, Offerdahl, Cox, Coleman, Eddmond, Gadsen, Fryar, OJ, Abdul Jabar, Vincent, Surtain, Madison, and of course all the recent years after Marino retired.
But even when this team never reached a Super Bowl I was always in for the changes, I always root for them whatever scenario panned out. Of course I was young and didn't understand many things going but I was always excited about the Dolphins.
But today I truly don't know how to feel about my team in this moment. If they won Sunday I will be happy, but if they lose I will not feel sad, angry, disappointed or name whatever feeling usually comes after a loss. Because in this moment I feel the decision made has set this team closer to lose than win.
I know people is in favor of Penny, I know as much as I like the guy that Henne has NOT helped his cause, I know Miami deserved better against NE, Pitts and Jets, and had any of those games come our way Henne still be the starter.
But what I really wanted to know at the end of this season were this things, I hope someone from you could give me an answer.
- Do we have a Franchise QB in the team for next year?
- Do we really need to invest a 1st rounder on a QB next draft?
- Are we over the rebuilding mode?
- Can we trust the FO moves are really helping the team?
- Do we have an identity as a team?
