Henning and Tony are both scapegoating CHAD HENNE - when the real failure of this team is on them !

They are trying to point the finger at Chad - who could be better... but COME ON MAN !  HE IS STILL LEARNING - going to Penny will NOT solve anything period.   Henne may not be the solution, but we dont know for sure yet - give him the last 8 games and if he is not a lot better - you draft a QB....  but you do NOT bench him now.

Dan Henning's system is TERRIBLE ...F N G  TERRIBLE. I can call most of the plays from my couch. We never run from passing formations, we always run up the middle... not behind LONG... we run short pass patterns, we throw deep rarely ..and lately to BESS !  What a joke. Henning is the PROBLEM.

Parcells - you deserve blame too.  Didn't you pick Henne ?  (if he is the problem U are responsible) more importantly - didn't YOU bring in Dan Henning ?  Parcells draft picks were mostly failures - come on.  He made us a .500 team no better. Merling, Pat white, Patrick Turner, Shawn Murphy, ... I could go on and ON.  His drafts were WEAK - his only saving grace was getting Marshall, Dansby and BESS thru FA.  But how many of us would have pulled the MARSHALL  trade - I think ALMOST EVERY FIN FAN - so that was a no brainer.... Drafting LONG at #1 overall was the safe easy pick - what about Matt Ryan ? Personally I am in the middle on Henne yet - but this is NOT THE MOVE to make. Henne deserves the rest of the year - HENNING DESERVES TO BE FIRED NOW - if you are benching Henne - lets look at the cause of his "robot like" progressions. Let the man air it out... don't handcuff him with these play calls and piss poor planning.

One last thing - If we want to be a run team and play close ? - then why do we keep deferring the first possesion ?

Why not take the ball - score and play from ahead - that fits our supposed "style" better - but we are scared....so we kick off, usually getting behind early and playing from a hole the rest of the way.

In short these coaches are the PROBLEM - and that now includes tony S.  he made these decisions - How about telling Henning to open up the offense ? that would be leadership.... not this finger-pointing bull-sh*t !!!!!!!!
