Funny the way life works out sometimes. I called a close friend of that now lives in Indy on the way down to Cincy. As it turned out he was at his cottage winterizing it for the season and he was only an hour away from our hotel. A little discussion with Wifey and she sent me on my way with her blessings. Maybe you remember this pic,....

Well, this is what was in store for me when I arrived,......F'n leaf duty !!! Look close, there is another big ass pile in the back,....ugh ! 

11 huge bags later, we chilled out with one hell of a fire and some cold beer. One cannot overstate the value of a close friend, it warmed my soul visiting him. My weekend was off to a spendid start !

Saturday around 5PM myself and two other Toledoans headed to The Westin. Mike, on the left, is a vetern when it comes to stalking and he stayed across the street from there. Bob, on the right, is new to all this and wasn't to thrilled at the start of our expedition. 

All that changed after I was able to this picture for him. He looks pretty happy here. 

As for me, I did pretty well. I got Ronnie Brown & Brian Hartline to sign pics I got from last season. And I got two mini helmets signed as well. One by Koa Misi,....

And the other by none other than "Earthwake" !!!!

All in all, it was good outing. Mike came away with 22 signitures on a ball, and Bob got 7 on a hat.
