So, last Monday night I did the usual for the Dolphin game while I'm home in Toledo. I went up to P&D Sports Page to watch the game with other Dol-fans. It was a good turnout for the fanclub for a weeknight, about 40 like minded people showed up to watch the game. It was my 3rd visit to my old haunt, and they do a really nice job with their door prizes every week. Each week they give away an authentic jersey ( knock-off) along with a few other lesser prizes. So, I thought since I have ten tons of Dolphin gear I would lighten my load by taking some gear for their give away each week. Hats, old Marino jersey ( dark blue replicia,.....I never liked it, and don't know how I came to own it), T-shirts, Dolphin kiddie footballs & the such...

Giving stuff to my local fanclub is nothing new. Every time I come to Florida I stock up on a few unique Dolphin items not easily found here in Ohio. I've bought back a Dolphin hammer & 25' tape measurer, bunches of hats ( find 'em cheap @ TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and the such ), a garden nome to name a few. But, they gave me something last Monday,....a title !!I am now officially the "Ambassador" for the Toledo Ohio Miami Dolphin Fanclub. I'm not sure what it means yet, but I was honored by the gesture. My acceptence speech went something like this,...."there goes the neighborhood".

From reading your posts and looking at your pictures-by the way your wife is smokin hot! You obviously are a are true phinatic. I get a kick out of you homemade merchandise that you make your self. Hope to some day attend a game in Miami with you and the other phinsider crews. You definitely seem like someone who knows how to have a good time.

Where does one find a Dolphin hammer and tape measure?

Not only could I show off my pride on the job site, it would probably be the first tools of mine that someone wouldn’t try to swipe! Granted I do live in Cali and everyone here is 9ers, Raiders, or Steelers fans for some reason. Might not have that same luck if I still lived in FL……….

I found them at sports fan's Attic in a mall in the tampa area,...

Those actually didn’t make it to the fanclub, but to a friend that is a handy man and was in my wedding. Guy doesn’t use them, he displays them in his workshop with other Dolphin trickets. I told him for his next Dolphin gift I was going to spray paint some 8P nails aqua & orange as to force him to use that hammer…

Gotta remember that if we get to the playoffs…..I could really drive some folks crazy around here if they have to work with tools and hardware that are aqua and orange! Course my wife will know I’m crazy if she sees me spending a weekend spray painting screws and nails…..I’m already really close to getting a free ride to a padded room as it is….
