Let me start by saying that, I am a Miami Dolphin fan first! I see everyone getting bashed, people calling for the bench, blaming our coaches - But, who is Blaming Bill Parcells? No one questions his ethics lately? Read this with an open mind, and think to yourself, "Why has he done all of this?", It is not the off-season, he done it to start the season, after pre-season, and continues. Does everyone still trust "The Tuna"?
After all of the confusion, emotions, placing blame, calling for changes, and generally looking for what the Miami Dolphins answers are for has taken place the last two weeks. It seems as though no-one has thought about Bill Parcells, “Our Savior” and his recent actions.
Has anyone questioned these actions as to why? Have you not noticed the comments made about the players, stepping-down, and basically campaigning for a new job?
That is correct, did you all not notice, nor “read between the lines” about his speech being elected in the NY Giants “Ring Of Honor”, and what he said about him and his relationship with the Dolphins.
The quote, the link, and thoughts after the jump. - Hat Tip to W NY Fins Fan for letting me even know about this, which I then researched.
Well, it is something to think about during our bye week.
"Well that is a good question," Parcells said when questioned about his future. "I am not a sit around the fireplace guy. I don't know. I am not certain about it. We will see what happens when the time comes. I know I want to do something even if it is not day-to-day or something like that, I know I want to do something. I don't like sitting around. I like to get up and go do something. We will figure it out when the time comes."
When you read this quote what do you think? When you read what all he said about Henne, what did you think? When he stepped-down and left praise for Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano, everyone thought he would still be here for us and make decisions.
Did “The Tuna” make mistakes trying to rebuild our beloved football team? You know through the 1-15 season, we lost most of the games by 3-6 points or less. Has he mistakenly messed with our franchise, thinking about one last “Ho-Rar!” for his “legacy”?
I am beginning to question a whole lot of moves by the front office, was most of it “the tuna”, who left Ireland and Sparano the mess to clean-up? His wanting of big sized players?
Everyone keeps saying “I trust the trifecta”, but that is no longer the case.
Sure he might still be at some pratices on his golf-cart and maybe some home games, but I question his loyalty to the team. Think about that before you judge me and my post.
Why has Big Bill suddenly done all of this? It is quite interesting, especially if you actually “read between the lines” on everything that he has said in the weeks leading to the start of the season.
So, do you still put your trust in "The Tuna" or do you think he might have left the team hanging?
