Hey fellow FIN-FANS! As tuff as it was to watch last weeks game (Dolphins vs Patrick Chung), there was one golden spot that should be noted. Vontae Davis. He completely shutdown Randy Moss (literately! 0 receptions! wow). And prior to this game he, had been doing a great job denying the ball whenever he was guarding someone. He truly looks like he is developing into a shutdown corner (knock on wood). Now I'm not trying to jinx it or be too optimistic, but lets say he turns into the next Nnamdi Asomugha or the Jets Corner (you know, the injured guy that i refuse to say, we need to have a nickname, and were definitely not naming it Davis Island, thats for the Jests. I figured i throw in some ideas and you guys can pick your favorite one, or if you have on of your own, leave a comment.
PS- leave Chad Henne alone, we'll never move forward with noodle-armed Chad Pennington.(plus it would be a huge waste of a fat head lol)

Teams aren’t throwing his way. Teams are forced to look underneath, which right now, is hurting us. Crowder is better than Dobbins and when he gets back will help our defense.

He was challenged a lot last year. He won most of the time. This season, teams will stay away from him. As far as Davis goes, he was a Parcells draftee, which is what I think you are asking.

I was talking about Davis. Because I live in South Florida I probably know almost as much about the dolphins as I do the Jets and I know that the Dolphins are building a good young team that will be around for a while.

They play the vikings this week. Vontae did shut down Moss, the pats offense only generated 13 points in total. the other points came from their special teams and defense.

That being said, you are partly right. The pats offense didn’t have a chance to play so much because their special teams kept our offense on the field. Still Vontae is nonetheless impressive at the moment.
