Ronnie Brown,

Are we saving him for later in the year? Is he still hurt from the foot deal? Is Ricky just better? I go with the last one , but just wondering. If he is our best back he did not get alot of carries or should I say do much last night. How do I know this he only got me 3 point in my league. Plus any real break in the run game came from Ricky. I think it could be a combo of hurt and saving for later in season, but dont you want to win now? If anyone knows whats up with him and his foot please inform me. We now have to wait 2 weeks for football, but look at the bright side , we wont lose next week. Come on I know to early, it still hurts me, but we have been here before so we can and will rebound. Hope Crowder is back and Odrick and Jerry, that McQuisain guy is junk.

We can't count on Ricky to be our #1 back for 16 games.

I think if Ronnie goes, we will spend multiple draft picks on RB (late). I’m not sure where this offense is headed towards, so I really have no clue who they’d keep. If we are going to a more pass oriented team, we choose RB as he is great in space and as a receiver. But Ricky is the more reliable grind it out type guy.

If we pick up Julius Jones

I won’t watch a game the rest of the year.

He is the worst player in the NFL.

We will pick a back in next year draft.

Illinois, Tennesse, Clemson have players worth a look, of course i’m not expecting us to have a shot on Ingram.

Also I don’t think we will draft a RB in the first round.

I got it wrong Tebow was a 1st rounder... Mau you won on this one... Damn!

We need at least 2 new backs next year IMO.

we should bring back Kory Sheets when he's healthy

He's gone for the season

It would be nice if Sheets can be the guy

I would love a leon Washington type player as a 3rd down back.

"The first thing I do when I get out of bed and feel the jolt in my knees is think of Roy Winston. On the second step, my calcified Adam's apple starts bobbing, and I think of Carl Eller. A few more steps in the dark and it's Willie Lanier. By the time I get to the bathroom, I'm flashing back to Dick Butkus and Ray Nitschke. And when the light finally comes on, I just hope that somewhere in the darkness they're thinking of me, too" - Larry Csonka.

kick returner anyone?

Henne and Marshall are the future of this franchise, through the ups and downs.

The OL

Brown likes to run between the tackles, however we have changed all 3 players there (both G and C). Frankly, all 3 new players aren’t that good. Maybe Jerry is but he is injured. The rest are career back-ups at best, and hence why Brown’s game is effected more then Ricky, who can run outside with his speed

questionable calls here from the front office

We went from a very strong unit to a less than avg unit

OUR O-Line is not the issue...

how is it RIcky is having a better season than Brown? Ronnies injuries have taken more of a toll on him than age has on Ricky…plain and simple

by daphinatic on Oct 6, 2010 5:25 PM EDT reply actions

Brown is not getting his number called as much as Williams is. Williams has not looked really good either this season.

I say its the line as well

Henne needs to step up

Brown has been nursing a HAMSTRING INJURY for the past several weeks..

I was asking myself the same questions about what is going on with the running game and why Browns carries were so low and spaced out.. It came out before the Jets game that there was some sort of nagging hamstring “tweak” or soreness that has been lingering and holding him back a bit…supposedly since pre-season!.. doesn’t surprise me.. but I hope he gets 100% soon!
