HUGE road win but......

Very thankful for the road victory !  The defense, after playing too loose in the first half, stepped up in the second. Basically we shut down the Bengal offense, again and again... until the dolphins offense could FINALLY get a TD... but lets be honest - how many people can say they are HAPPY ABOUT 5 MORE FIELD GOALS ?

It's clear many times after we pass mid Field, THE team's coaches are playing scared, playing NOT to mistake. This is a HUGE mistake, and we should have ROLLED THE BENGALS, but our play calling in the red zone was piss poor... yea terrible.   A 4-3 record keeps us in the playoff hunt, and that's great.

But if you think this play calling is going to beat the Patriots OR Jets in the rematch - you are sadly mistaken. Henne played a good game with very few mistakes.  The WR's (looking at YOU Hartline...YOU Fasano) played pretty poorly...dropped pass after dropped pass.  HARTLINE in my opinion had a terrible game. Sure he made a few plays late - helping out some - but his route running looks weak.  Watch the Henne INT - as I recall Hartline didn't sell the route allowing the CB to just run along side turning into the ball causing an INT...His drops are another thing.

Hartline you are no CAMARILLO - sir.... not at all... I know he is young yet - but he needs a lot of improvement if he is starter material.

DAN HENNING is still the biggest problem with this team.  Again, his play calls were WEAK - predictable and boring. sure he was able to make a few good calls in the second half - on the reverse for one.

But the WILDCAT again - really ? Enough already.  Enough with the PREDICTABLE PLAY CALLS.  Open up the offense and look for MARSHALL in the Red Zone ! He is holding back Henne, and this team.

Today was a nice victory - but  Henning called another poor game period.

Defense - thanks for the VICTORY !
