Dan Henning has been beaten up for failing to score touchdowns with this offense. He’s been accused of poor play calling, not having a feel for the game and not scoring points with what most of us consider a talented offense. So how does he fix his image and the team at the same time?
Well he does that by saying he wants to take charge of the failures of the offense. He says his plan is to be more hands on of on the sideline. He wants to be in touch with the players and coaches so that the right decisions are made in a timely manner. So he is moving David Lee to the booth where he can call plays so that Dan Henning can manage the offense on the sideline.
This sort of change will make him the hero of the situation by taking responsibility for the problem and addressing it. Also, it gets someone else calling the plays (Which in my opinion is a big part of the problem). Everyone saves face and we can implement a much needed change.
I know it’s just a dream but it would be nice.
