How to manage our two headed monster

We have two different styles of running backs in Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown.   Both of them have something different to offer and sometimes some are better suited for playing against a certain defense.  Yesterday we found that Ronnie’s dancing until he finds the hole does not work against the Steelers.  They are far to quick and the holes don't open up for him so as a result he runs 9 times for 14 yards.  Ricky Williams hits the hole quick and hard as he punished the defense for tackling him he gets 11 runs for 48 yards for an average of 4.36 yards per carry.  Also, if you paid attention you also noticed Ricky was a blocking animal yesterday.  He knocked down every single blitzer on his ASS.  I'm no rocket scientist or NFL coach but why was Ronnie Brown playing on the last drive.  Well it was his turn because the two alternate series.

This is the dumbest philosophy ever and not just for the last drive but for the whole second half.  After halftime Ronnie was 5 runs for 2 yards average .4 and Ricky was 6 runs for 20 yards average 3.3 and add to that his excellent blocking.  Ricky Williams should have been the featured back in the second half and Ronnie should have spelled him when needed.  Also on that last drive Ricky should have been the one on the field because of how well he was blocking.  I personally believe Ronnie is the better running back and I hope we keep him after this year (So I’m not a Ronnie Brown critic)

This goes to one of my previous posts where I talk about Henning lack of feel for how the game is going.  Someone needs to see these things and adjust on the fly.
