Pat White suffered "likely concussion"
That's good news considering how bad it originally looked. White even gave his teammates a little pep talk before being taken to the hospital, saying "Boys, keep ballin'. I'll be fine. You go out there and keep fighting."
Like him or hate him as a player, Pat is a good person and I hope for a speedy recovery.

glad to hear he was still somewhat "there" so to speak
giving out a little pep talk. Most of the time, there isn’t really a long-term problem at all with a concussion, except of course the fact that you are more susceptable to another concussion, so he should be able to pick right up and continue his career. Good news.

Just stopping by to see how White is doing. That’s very good news. I saw the play and was scared for the young man.

I'm glad to hear he's okay

respect
i have mad respect for pat white. he is the smallest guy on the field but has the state of mind of someone who is 6’3 240. he never avoids contact and doesn’t look for the side line as soon as he gets the ball. i will never knock that guy for his play on the field. its not his fault he was a 2nd round pick. i ll be pulling for him to do well next year. glad hes ok
Next Season
To comment on the Phin’s needs next season: I think Thigpen would be a better option for the Wildcat. Teams know that White is not going to throw. Thigpen, Henne and Brown can really give heart attacks running or passing multiple option plays. I think Ricky Williams has one more year left in him. Deep threat receivers are certainly needed. I would keep Bess or even Hartline to start on one side and get a great tall speedster with great hands. Certainly Camarillo and Ginn are good but not as starters. But without a doubt the Defense is not what it should be. Age is a problem and it needs to be addressed over the summer and in the draft. We need a mature corner that can cover deep now. The rest are works in process.
