I know its just the Senior Bowl HOF but they do only have 94 members and who knows if we’ll be able to celebrate him in the real HOF in the future.

Glad to see a guy we drafted in the 6th round go to the Pro Bowl especially when its in our house. He might be up there in age but for Bell to last through all these coaching changes really does speak volumes.

although bell was a liability in coverage at times if the other teams RB made it past the line you knew that he was going to be close by to make the tackle. He also did make a couple key interceptions down the stretch. Is he a Darren Sharper or Ed Reed or Adrian Wilson? No. But he is definitely solid at what he does best which is tackling. Glad that he was able to stay relatively healthy for a majority of the season. Congrats yeremiah!!

is there a bigger mockery in all of sports than the NFL pro bowl?

I mean in baseball the All-Star game actually gets played fairly seriously & the outcome obviously has an effect.

The Pro Bowl isn’t for the fans. That’s why it was always in Hawaii. It was always supposed to be a reward for the players who had great seasons by sending them to Hawaii for a week vacation. Trying to make it more for the fans takes away a lot of what was great about it for the players. Listen to all the interviews. Even Bell doesn’t like the setup, and that’s the whole reason he’s even there. The guys playing in the Super Bowl have to now forgo the honor and miss out on a nice vacation because of the thing being moved. We have to just accept that the NFL is not a sport that lends itself to an all-star game, and the original setup was perfect for the players.

I think the best thing they could do is make a weekend out of it, and bring back the QB competition, fastest man, and all the little mini-games for the competition and fun.
