Demaryius Thomas Bandwagon
I am here to shutdown everyones Demaryus Thomas Bandwagon.. sure the kid has size but hes not who you think he is.
Let me start off by saying Demaryius Thomas is a big, strong, and physical presence at the reciever position BUT he is a developmental player. He runs poor routes, has inconsistent hands, lacks deep speed, and does not create seperation. He is not a #1 whatsoever and has limited upside. im not saying he cant be a good player but hes not who everyone is putting out to be. We already have a project at reciever with turner and adding Thomas will not solve are reciever needs anytime soon. It suprises me how noone is looking at guys who can come in and make impact right away such as Brandon LaFell, Arrelious Benn, etc

Post this after the combine
Right now Thomas is as a good choice as Benn, Decker, Gyliard, etc.
And right now I like the Demaryus bandwagon
better beer on that bandwagon?
Just think how stupid the average Jest fan is, and then realize that half of them are even stupider! ( a parody of a George Carlin line)

whoa
decker is a possesion reciver not in the same mold or class as Benn and Gilyard who are more playmaking threats.. and you dont need the combine to see that thomas lacks speed, seperation, and natural hands on film
Gilyard will be a sleeper in this draft

Really?
He lacks speed? Look at the touchdown at about the 3:30 mark here.

If thats not breakaway speed, I dont know wat is. He also has the ability to go up and get the ball away from a defender. A skill that none of Miami’s receivers possess. And a skill that is present in all number 1 receivers in the NFL.
Establishing the draft Demaryius Thomas in the 2nd Round bandwagon.
i watched the whole vid
like i said hes big and physical but dont get to hyped up off the georgia saftey takin bad angles but hes definetly nice…. i havent seen that many stiff arms in my life …..i wouldnt mind seein him in a dolphins uniform.
Turner was supposed to be a big and physical WR, and now look, he can't even get on the field

Who's doing the coaching?
Karl Dorrell couldn’t get Turner coached up, what makes you think he coach up Thomas?
There is some difference Thomas is a Top 10 WR
Turner was barely a Top 25

we probably wont see a receiver picked this year
Sorry but its the truth, with Arizonas asking price for Boldin dropping, and guys like Bryant out there,i doubt Parcells and Co. Draft a wr this year. They spent alot of time aquiring project players this year, and tbh i just dont see it. As for not having any go up and get em recievers on this roster,i beg to differ,Hartline,Bess, and Camarillo all have that ability, all they really need is that difference maker, and other than Benn,i dont see that coming from a rookie

your wrong man Bill Parcells knows we have no recievers he drafts players that fill that need
he’ll draft a Receiver a sleeper someone who could come in and play but he’s going to trade a reciever for extra picks don’t know who though. we also don’t have a go up and get em type reciever idk know what you been watching, we have one of the best #2 recieevrs but these guys will not wrestle a CB for a ball there more of sidekicks. Benn looks nice ill agree but im thinking Bill will pick up someone we never even heard of. like last year
Chillin in the Henne ERA!!!!

best believe a wr will be taken
and were coaching senior bowl so their going to pick someone up who they see practices the way they like so when training camp comes around they know what to expect therfore they will see the field early
When does Plaxico Burress get out of jail?

and can you stop with the boldin were not getting a aging injury-prone reciever
hes not are long term answer
your right we do draft for need
But i still dont think the fo sees it as a pressing need. Truth is,in my opinion, its not. AB is only one option out there, and truth be told,my gut has been telling me that this year, like the last, your gonna see guys that can be either plugged in the system in place now,or thatt can take the pressure off of some of these high priced vets. I.E. mclain, spiller, spikes, etc.
Truth is,Parcells has two years remaining in HIS contract, and he is probably either gonna take a gig elsewhere or retire. Either way, rolling the dice on another rookie reciever, with the what,8-9 young recievers we already have on this roster definitely doesnt sound like something Parcells would do. There is no standout like spiller at the wide reciever position in this years draft. Or a Mclain for that matter

as for not getting Boldin, and him being too injury prone
Didnt we sign Penington, trade for ferg, andresign ricky,“even though he wasnt injured,we saw him waste alot of his eligible career on pot,and finding himself” and i dont believe in the whole “injury prone” label. Truth is he comes cheap, maybe not contract wise, but he also fills a need we dont really have to address through the draft. I guarantee youll see Anquan or perhap even Bryant in aqua and orange before you see another maybe he might be reciever drafted at least this year.

Chambers?
He Reminds me of Chris Chambers, He can make great catches but he also will drop easy passes.
Ted Ginn Jr- Next Great Return Threat- Driver of the New TGJ Return Threat Bandwagon- 299 yards and 2TDs vs Jets 11/1/09
Who had a 17.7 yard per touch
2nd in the nfl after harvin’s 17.8 yard per touch(for those with 100 or more touches)? Thats right Ginn and unless Cam gets traded there will be nothing but training camp wrs added to this roster. Bookmarked and find me at the start of training camp

If we are throwing out late round WR picks
Then I’m nominating Carlton Mitchell from South Florida. 6’-4", 210 lbs and runs a 4.4 40. Sounds like that BM guy everyone wants.
Good point. There's a lot of really talented late-round wideouts available in this draft
