The fact is I'm a Dol-fan for life. Lot's of stories, lots of laughs. For me, I started traveling 3 years with our 1st stop being in Houston, Texas before heading to Florida. Yeah, I went to the game (one of many in '07), and they won it on a last minute field goal. But, Texans will never be able to sport a matching T-shirt and hat saying undeafted Super Bowl Champs ! Never !

There were not many high points in '07 for Dol-fans, but at my 1st home game that year I came across Jim Kiick in the crowd. I didn't know that this would be one of many encounter with some Dolphin greats.

'07 sucked ! Period ! The only game they won, I boycotted on princple. I couldn't see myself dumping the hundreds of dollars, plus the 4 hour drive each way between the Tampa area and South Florida when they sucked that bad. Of course the rest is history, they beat the Ravens and lose to the Bengals in the last home game of the season.

But, there was an awesome Dolphin highlight at the end of that season. The final event at the Orange Bowl, Dolphin greats playing flag football against greats from "The U". There I saw Marino throw a TD pass to Jason Taylor !! I also got tons of pictures and autographs that day. It was a real feel good moment after a horrible year.......

'08 would be our 2nd season in Florida (Clearwater ) after working the Summer in seattle WA. If you have to drive across the country, what better reason than going to some home Dolphins games ! So, that's what I did, still having to commute 4 hours each way for every game we attend. A small price to pay. That season, "The Stalker" helped me take my collection to the "next level"........

Things were going to be different this year.......

That year we went from worst to first, with one huge difference. A player we reffered to as CP10 !

Before CP10 saved us, we had to rely on another QB to save a season. During the '72 season Griese got hurt and Earl Morell had to get to the playoffs while Bob was out......... Nice Ring !

Again, I have had lots of good times that season, but it was really cool when my Wife's family came for a visit. I drove them right down to S. Florida and took them to the 49'ers game. They had a blast, and now know 1st hand why I like going to games as much as I do ! On a side note: all Dolphin gear belongs to yours truely. I think I gave them each 3 options.  

A home playoff game !! Are you kidding me ?? It was definately time to bust out "The Look",..........you know it as the "Aquahawk" ! I'm pretty sure Joe Rose, was thinking what the hell, even though he said he liked it.........

We started this season having to come to Florida from Columbus, Ohio. Which is a hell of alot closer than Seattle.....

Opps, how did "The Vest" get in here ?? Oh well, ...........GO BUCKS !!!!!

I planned my exit from Ohio with perfect timing to go on a side trip,..........to NY. What a thrill to have been at "Teddy to the House X 2" game. Watching JT score was sweep,........ah sweet as hell too !!!!!

The 6-7 weeks living on Ft Lauderdale Beach was like being in Dolphin heaven. As you know I made it to Ronnie's and Channing's radio show several times. That was totally cool but this has got to be right up there on the Dolphin coolmeter........3 '72'ers & a HOF'er.

Now I have one final game this season. I got friends I haven't spoke to in years ( Steelers fans ) reaching out just to give me a little shit because of tomorrows game. We've had alot go wrong this year. But we've also had alot go right........

Yeah, they've got Big Ben, but we've got rocket-arm Henne. The future looks good.

Real Good !!!

I will be at the game tomorrow and, I will not be in Florida next season. Instead, I'll be in some sports bar out West in either CA or AZ watching the Dolphins. So, I going to take in all the sights and sounds of the game and all that goes with it. One last chance to cheer the Dolphins live, one last chance to build the collection. There will be a bunch of alumni in the house due to Shula's 80th celebration. I love the Dolphins and I love going to the games in person. Tomorrow will be bittersweet for me. A win would be a nice way for the team to show me off............
