Stadium to be renamed "Sun Life Stadium"
Last week the Dolphins scheduled a big press conference for Wednesday. And as expected, it is indeed about the naming rights of the stadium.
Land Shark Stadium is no more, as it will be known as "Sun Life Stadium." Sun Life Financial will pay $7.5 million per year over five years for the naming rights.

I hate that stupid song. Every game I went to this year, they played the real song at the end of the 3rd quarter, and the place just exploded. Never in my life have I heard 70,000 people joyously sing such a corny song, but dammit that’s our fight song. If Ross paid attention to how loud the stadium got when that song came on, he would dump the new one.

because it fit the southern Florida motif, but any way you look at Sun Life you can’t help but think about money. I will be referring to the stadium as Joe Robbie this year, or not at all.
