Fantasy Football trade

My team is as follows in a 12 team league and I have the most projected points going into week 1:

QB Kurt Warner / Favre

RB Michael Turner / Fred Jackson

RB Ronnie Brown / Thomas Jones

WR Anquan Boldin / Anthony Gonzalez

WR Brandon Marshall

WR Lance Moore

TE John Carlson

D Seattle / Miami

Should I trade Thomas Jones for marshawn lynch and take the hit on his 3 game suspenion? I already have his backup, they trade has already been offered. thanks for your help.

My opinion; I would not do this trade. Buffalo’s line is rough…. the only thing you would be accomplishing would be helping the other team for 3 weeks. If the trade is still available after Week 3; then give it some thought.

Lynch is better than Jones, and you’re not starting Jones now anyways.

But I’d probably be looking for a better backup QB or WR too.

I would absolutely do this trade

Thomas Jones is going to fall off this season.

Leon Washington commands too much attention for the coaching staff not to utilize him far more than in the past, and Shonn Greene was drafted to be “the replacement” for TJ. They know Jones has passed the 30-year mark and that the decline is imminent. Jones will definitely get his share of touches, but he is not the talent that Marshawn Lynch is at this stage in his career.

Buffalo’s line may be garbage, but the passing game will be formidable with Evans and Owens. Fred Jackson will prove to be a threat out of the backfield as well, and the running game will ultimately thrive. It doesn’t matter what their stats total at the end of the season, it just matters who produces when the most important games roll around.

Since TJ is only a back-up, you can completely afford to wait out the three game suspension.

I would definitely make this trade. The Bills line stunk last year too and Lynch still put up a 1,000 yard season with 8 TDs – while missing a little over a game.

Lynch is going to get way more touches then TJ once he gets back.

Brandon Marshall isn’t looking like such a great choice right now – I have him too but am pretty concerned.

Oh, and I forgot to mention – with a line full of rookies you’d expect them to get better as the season progresses, which means losing Lynch for the first 3 games might be a fantasy blessing in disguise.

you think I should start hmi over B-Marsh? He had 18 catches in week 1 last year and hes playing cincy and ochocinco, i think its going to be quite the display. Lance Moore is playing the lions i have to start him.

Hard to say, reports are surfacing about a possible contract extension for Marshall so who knows.

i love gonzolez this year

he has great hands, a great QB throwing to him, and with harrison out of the of the picture, he could have a remarkable year

I fig’d I’d just post this in here instead of making a new fanpost or shot.

In my league with IDPs, I have:

Suggs
Vilma
Gibril WIlson
Will Allen
Dwight Freeney
James Farrior (already started him, he got me 5 points)
and Bartina Scott.

I’m starting Suggs, Vilma, Freeney, and Farrior already played. Now here’s the question; Do I start Will Allen or Gibril? Will has the opp to get some picks if he plays well, and reports out of camp say he has had opportunities for pick sixes, but I think Wilson will have a decent amount of tackles and possible FF. Who should I start?

just had time to read matty’s posts but haven’t been able to read any fanposts or anything. work has been hectic and i lost my mindddd last weekend so i’ve been recovering from labor day weekend lol. how ya been buddy?
