My opinion on our Qb's

I am writing this to talk about what I have seen from our Qb's  this last game.  Now let me start by saying I want to see all three of our Qb's become superstars but to get there they have to learn.  Lets us Begin.

Star-divide

Chad Penny didn't look special at all.  But he proved himself last year so I am not worried about him.  A few good passes against the first defense.  Knew when to use timeouts when the defense came out in a formation he didn't like and all in all, he played smart and not to many Qb's smarter than this man.

Chad Henne.  Everyone's favorite Qb.  A lot of people want him to begin play this year.  He isn't ready.  That is the best way to say it.  His one TD pass was to a wide open Wilford who did all the moves to get into the endzone.  To be fair Ricky did drop a sure TD pass but a defender also dropped an INT too.  He was also intercepted with a horrible throw.  Now he did look poise in the pocket which is a good thing.  Now onto something I hate a lot.  He stares down his reciever bad.  I can't remember one time, even though I may be wrong, he looked at a different reciever.  He stayed locked on and if he does that against first team defenses he will be eaten alive.  I think he has a lot of learning to do and if he can get another year under his belt I believe he will come out better.

Pat white did what I expected.  Made some plays with his legs and threw the ball fairly well.  He needs to learn to slide.  He keeps trying to run into defeneders we won't have him much longer.  His passes were decent even though he had at least three dropped passes by the recievers and one led to an INT.  He needs to learn how to drop back better behind center.  By the time he gets back his recievers are already making their cuts which is not good.  I know that he isn't comfortable though so we give him time.

One last note.  If by bad luck CP10 were to get hurt this year or we were doing bad and Chad Henne were to be thrown in I would be happy.  This would give him a chance to play in a real game.  I believe he needs real game experience to learn because remember that class where some people learn by listening and watching?  Seems to me he will learn by doing.  He has been learning for a year but when he got on that field he was still doing thing college QB's do.  I want to see him this Saturday and see how well he does.  I sure hope he fixes some mental mistakes and stops staring down one reciever.  Will Pat White learn to drop back faster?  Who knows but I can tell you on Saturday I will have my beer and be watching this game happy the Phins are back on TV.  Enjoy!
