RIP Les Paul (NOT DOLPHINS NEWS)

Les Paul, mastermind of the solid body guitar died today, at age 94. He will forever be remembered as not only one of the greatest guitarists of all time, but the genius mind behind the revolutionary solid body guitar. WIthout his ingenuity, who knows what Jimmy Page would have played? Or what would've come of the Stratocaster. Many may not appreciate his music, but everyone should appreciate his dedication towards developing the guitar further, and creating the sound of "rock 'n roll."

Thank you for all of your efforts, you were a great man and an inspiration to everyone who picked up a guitar.

i remember when i was a teenager, my buddy got a les paul and it was like the holy grail of guitars for us. RIP

This is indeed a sad day.

Les was the godfather of the rock n’ roll sound and his contribution to the genre is immeasureable.
