What kind of fan are you?

Well I am making this post to ask everyone here a simple but important question.  What kind of fan are you during a football game?  Not if your at the game because everyone had better be screaming there or your not a true fan.  But when you are at home and watching a game how do you act?  Are you the screaming type or the passive type?  Do you go from mad to happy quickly or just show a sign of disappointment?  Take the poll and explain below!  Pre-season starts up soon so lets see how our community folds out.

Star-divide

Now I am the kind that get excited and yells at the TV.  I will cuss names and be happy with them if they do something right.  Now after the game I will be calm and more thoughtful but during all that matters is we get that W baby.  Here is the poll-

now sundays come, if i’m not at the game on sunday’s. she has the popcorn already, & sitting on the couch with a big ol smile!

I am the epitome of calm, cool, & collected...

on the outside!
I don’t like communicating (back) to my tv.
An old buddy of mine (Redskin fan) would place his nose an inch away from the tv and spit, scream, and froth when he saw sumpin’ he didn’t like.
I just chuckled at him.

I'm pretty excitable when something good happens!

I prefer to watch the games alone so as not to freak anyone out. I once jumped up with excitement during a game and punt my hand through the celing fan. Luckily I just came away with a bruised hand and a broken fan blade. After a loss I am not in a real good mood for about a day. During the weekend child exchage with the exwife her new husband (a Cowboys fan) tried to give me hard time about a Phin loss. Luckily my ex stepped in and stopped things down by telling him “Oh no, we dont joke about Dolphin losses!”.

LOL

Thats funny about the fan. Yeah i am usually in a bad mood after a loss. Especially if it was close and we lost by one bad play. That kills me.

ME- My children say I act like a complete lunatic whenever the Dolphins play!! Have been a “phin” fan forever, even have my granchildren watching and cheering for the “phins” with me!! So maybe I am a “lunatic” but I’ll be one to the day I leave this earth, and god willing I will live to see another “perfect” season!!! “GO PHINS”

I yell at all the good and bad moments

I clap my hands in anger and when something good happens. I also yell at the players from inside my living room. Any football game I watch this happens, the game is just always just so exciting.

Let me tell you the type of fan I am........

I’m the guy who relocates to Florida in mid to late Fall as catch as many home games as possible.

Besides, Ohio Winters = cold & shitty AND Florida Winters = warm & pleasant

One more thing, I love going to games live & in person. Nothing like hanging out on Sundays with thousands & thousands of other Fin fans !!!! Just awesome !!!!!

I might be a little crazy, but I like it that way !!!!

I am an intense watcher,

it’s damn near impossible to get my attention unless there’s a commercial break or a lull in the game, say for a instant replay or a timeout.

And on many an occasion I will look up and find a GF looking at me like I’m from outer space or like I’ve got horns growing out of my head or something, and I’ll do my best to look innocent, hold my hands out and say…what?, and then she says, I was talking to you, and I say, sorry sweetie I was just really into the game, and then she gets that look like, OMG I have had sex with this man, lol.

But I will Jump up out of my chair fists in the air yelling at big plays, but most of the time I yell is at missed calls by the ref, or bad ones, but mostly missed ones, but winning or losing doesn’t change my demeanor much, if at all, I am not influenced much by outside interference, win or lose 15 mins after the game is over I am looking forward to next week.

I usually watch the game again twice during the week, once to break down each position, which requires a lot of rewinding, lol, I can punish a VCR with the best of them and I have been through quite a few of them, and then one more time just to watch the game again(sometimes I skip this part when we lose, lol).

LOL

HAHA that gf thing is funny. My ex of 2 years was a Pats fan but just a bandwagon fan. Couldnt name a player besides brady. LMAO I hated her. But I got my DVR this year to record every game and I am going to find a way to get them on my computer and record them to DVD.

loud,obnoxious,rude....

according to significant other…but, i get super excited, passionate about the Phins. In Chicago, for me, we have 2 seasons…motorcycle season….and football season…when Miami’s season is over, to me, football season is over…..I even have one of those footballs that when you throw it, it starts singing the fight song……doesnt work anymore(hmmm?), so now its my unofficial yellow flag…yeah, i call my own penalties……anyone near O’hare wants to join on sunday…drop a line…..

I have been told I'm obnoxious

if we are losing, I feel like someone is hitting my mother! I get so mad if we do bad and I yell and scream and carry on if we are winning, and heaven forbid if there is someone around rooting for the other team, they never hear the end of it! I am both a sore winner and sore loser. As long as no one opposes me, all is good!

So do you think the Jets intentionally did it to set the organization back 3 years or was it just an unintended side effect of their move.

Live for the Fins

I genuinely believe that by talking to my team through the TV, they play better (except when they don’t listen). I yell, scream and cheer at every move. I also leave the room on game-changing plays. It hasn’t been easy being a Fins fan since Dan the Man left, but adversity makes you stronger!!
