Ronnie Brown Extension?

As far as I know, this is Ronnie's last season under contract. Does anyone know if there has been any extension talks whatsoever? I absolutely love the kid (actually have a $300 replica jersey of him) and think his performance shows he is a must keep. Two years ago, he was on pace for the best rb season ever before the ACL tear. Last year, he showed he can come back from an injury because of his hardwork and determination. I feel that he is constantly overlooked around the league and it would be devastating to see him go. Are Parcell's and company holding off to try and get him for less money? Is there any chance they don't even offer him an extension?

Motivation

Apparently the consensus is they are going to go down the motivational route.
Have a good start to the season and we’ll start talking bigger numbers than we would normally and vice versa.
Basically he had a good comeback from injury, but I’m sure that he’ll say himself he is better than that and as such he needs to prove it to the front office before they’ll offer him huge money.
I bet that they’ll have him sorted out around mid-season if is having the kind of year everybody hopes that he does.
I like Ronnie and I hope they can tie him before they even think about using the franchise tag, which is what I think they’ll do if they haven’t agreed by then.

another knee injury would cripple his chance's as most nfl back's are concerned with 1 surgery most dont come back!

It depends on how he does this year.

Brown SHOULD have his best year, since recovering from his injury. I expect him to get extended in the middle of the season, if he does well.

Greg Camarillo is the next Wes Welker.

My fault. It is an authentic. I hate getting expensive things like this because I see no difference in having the replica. Now I am just concerned about getting it dirty rather then having a good time/repping my team.
