Season Preview: Game 13 Miami at Jacksonville

There have already been some excellent season prediction and season preview posts.

I'd like to try to set up a linked game-by-game analysis of the Dolphins season.

You are free to comment now on your current expertise of the Dolphins' opponents as to whether the game will be a win or loss. Feel free to post in the comments a projected score and your reasons.

However, you can also wait until I've finished the entire season and start from Atlanta (game 1) and go through the links to game 16 (Pittsburgh). I'm also including a poll as to the game-by-game season record.

After posting your analysis and voting, you can go to the next link for Game 14 Miami at Tennessee.

Without further ado, Game 13 Miami at Jacksonville.

Immediate Observations:

I think the NFC West wil help the Jaguars turnaround. They are probably worse than last year, but will have a better record because of an easier schedule.

Miami faces the Jags as the middle of a three game homestand between key games at Houston and Indianapolis.

There's a chance of catching the Jags looking toward the Colts.

The Jags defense still has some gaping holes and the running game will not be as strong as it was in years past.

I think their O-Line is a year or two away from developing. That means Garrard will have to carry the team with a shaky O-Line and that is not a good thing for the Jags.

How much will Torry Holt bring? I say not enough. I predict a Fins win.
