What was your favorite off-season move?

Well 2009's NFL off-season was just like most of the them in the past, full of surprising trades (Cutler to the Bears), shockingly dumb draft day moves (Heywerd-Bey and Mark Sanchez) and of course a Favre watch.

But what move/aquisition by our very own Miami Dolphins had you smiling the most? Was it the return of Jason Taylor? The drafting of the versatile and mysterious Pat White?

For me, I think it was the signing of Gibril Wilson and getting Sean Smith with our THIRD pick. At times last year, our secondary was flat out embarrassing and it seemed like most every big play made by an opposing vertical offense was Renaldo Hill or Jason Allens fault.

With Wilson replacing Hill I think that will instantly make the secondary go from medicore to good. Wilson was the top tackling safety in the league last year. And with him being paired in the back with Bell, the third ranked tackling safety, I smell trouble (for opposing offenses that is).

And nothing made me more happy this year than when we drafted two corners in our first three picks, especially the Sean Smith pick. I was expecting him to go in the first round with his combination of size and talent....STEAL.

So, there were a lot of great moves made by this FO to make this team better in 09 but those two players have to be my favorite...Now I'm not afraid to watch teams pass on our defense...I'm actually excited!

Now thoughts?
