I got my tickets for the Dolphins game at the Bills...
- the only seats they had left were in the 300 section
- which I don't understand because tickets went on sale today
- hopefully the view is good enough
- only 4 months and 11 days until that game
- and only 14 days until the start of training camp

one thing i have learned is the games are NEVER soldout
these sites just buy them up and resell them

yeah
I realized that when I got home and checked ticketmaster. I’ll just have to deal with my 300 level seats. my theory was as long as I’m there and can see the game then I’m good to go

Would you happen to know how far the stadium is from Fort Drum, NY? Or Syracuse? I might need to get tickets for this, Ill be visiting around that time.

Syracuse to Buffalo is two hours. The stadium is another half hour on the other side of Buffalo. Fort Drum is about an hour north of Syracuse. If I were driving from Ft. Drum to Orchard Park I would give myself 4 hours. I went to school just north of Ft. Drum and made the drive often.

from Syracuse
I think it is about two and a half hours give or take. The stadium is in Orchard Park so its a drive through Buffalo to get there.

Some answers...
Season ticket holders are allowed to buy their seats first then they get to buy more tickets for any games they want. For instance I had a season ticket holder get me a bunch of tickets to the Browns game this year. Since season ticket sales are through the roof then many of them probably bought additional tickets. Plus the game that attracts the most attention is usually the Dolphin or Patriot game. So even before the individual game tickets go on sale, many games are sold out. If this was the season opener or the next game you wouldn’t have even had a chance to buy a ticket.

alright
so when one gets season tickets they have to pay for that then buy tickets for each game for themselves? I really don’t understand the season ticket thing. I thought that you pay so much each year then you get the seats so selected for the whole season. That’s how it is for my friend who has season tickets for the Sabres (or leastwise I think so), so is football the same or not?

No they get their seat for each game but they get the opportunity to purchase single game tickets before the public.
