Dolphins reach agreement with 4th round pick Brian Hartline
The Dolphins are working their way towards getting all of their draft picks signed before camp begins in less than three weeks. Today, the Dolphins agreed to terms with WR Brian Hartline - a 4th round pick. It's reportedly a 4 year deal that could be worth up to $4 million if he hits all of his incentives. But it's more likely the deal will be worth around $2.25 million.
This means the Dolphins have signed five of their nine total draft picks. But none of the team's day one picks are signed yet. Fifth round safety Chris Clemons also remains unsigned.

Hartline will be a great addition to the wildcat
I can see him as a solid blocker, and a no-name guy who plays fundamental ball and is crucial to our success
Laces out!

Halfway There !!!!
I love the way these guys do business. There is nothing that bugs me more when a rookie isn’t in camp on time, Jason Allen and even Ronnie Brown come to mind. This year being even more important because we could use one of the two CB’s starting for us.
great
i see hartline being a good receiver it seems he has the smarts to be a great receiver lets see what happens during TC
i dont think he will be
he might just surprise the hell out of evryone they see something in him in him we obviously havent seen yet
Hartline is good
Being an Ohio State fan all my life, believe me, he will bring it. Great hands, smart, excellent route runner and tough in the red zone.
I didn't read this carefully.

I am so awsome, lol.
Doesn't he kinda fit the "Pennington mold?"
(God forgive for this) but stat-wise he’s quick, & big. No deep speed.
But will punish d’backs in the middle.
Larry Little and I both wore 66 in our football careers. I think that means something.
LOL, LOL, LOL, get your adverbs here!
right size good speed and decent hands he fits the mold perfect
does anybody have any footage on hartline by any chance, and he is reunited with an old teamate ginn who im sure will give him some pointers
My Hartline Prediction
2009 Stats – Hartline 42 receptions for 569 yards, leads special teams in tackles.

NICE contract...
Remember that 2.25 mil is over 4 years with the latter years being higher (i.e. $300K, $400K, $750K, $775K) . If he is still a benchwarmer in 3-4 years he will be cut well before the contract plays out. If he is a solid contributor, you now have a guy for cheap even if he reaches some of those incentives the last couple of years.
This is way cheap and will probably be renegotiated if he performs well.
Nice move trifecta. If you see potential go get it!!!
I see Hartline as the next Welker
He has the attitude.. and from the vids I have seen has the hands as well. Not a deep threat.. but a guy who will give it his all and make plays.
It looks like were phasing out Camarillo and Bess
Patrick Turner and Hartline look to be prototypical NFL receivers. The big target and the great hands route runner. Plus we have Ginn as the deep threat.
So what does this mean for Bess and Cam?
And by one, I mean Camarillo.
Bess is going to be around for a long time.
