Dolphins Receiving ranks 29th
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9787230/Positional-Power-Rankings:-WR/TE-packages
The Pats are #2 and the Bills are #3. Ok, Penne is a short pass artist (and quite good at it) and will probably be the starting QB for the 2009 season. So is next year the year we pick a top reciever in the draft or throw some money at a free agent when the long ball Henne takes over? I think we have the slot well filled with both Camarillo and Bess and TE seems to be sufficient. But we have no proven effctive weapon (hopefully one of the newbies will shine) at either WR spot. I'm sorry, I think Teddy is a swell guy, but don't see him being more than an average receiver. In this division, that will not get it done.
Four of our first 6 games are against teams that rank in the top 10. With rookies as our best hope for corners (no diss to Will Allen) how are we going to keep pace with these teams? I love the moves the FO made this year and I am still a believer, but we may be in for quite a reality check compared to the dream come true of last year.

Ted Ginn
Just an average reciever in this division? are you straight. ..Josh Reed is just an average reciever, Chansi Stuckey is just an average reciever.. but Ted Ginn are you serious? some of you people really dont know what you have in ted ginn,Ted he needs to go to the Colts, Cardinals, or even san diego for you to see an “average reciever”

Very bizarre rankings...
Buffalo is way, way overrated in that article. I can only conclude that it is some sort of buffalo homer writing the piece.
TO cannot beat press coverage and everyone in the league knows that. TO is most dangerous while……….in his own lockeroom, destroying the team’s unity and wrecking the confidence of his QB!
And how do they rank Buffalo’s group ahead of so many excellent groups like those of Atlanta, Denver, or Houston?
Regarding Ted Ginn, I do think the article did actually make sense – it is a make or break year for Ginn. 790 yards – his total last year and 175 came in just one game – make him very average. This is his third year and he needs to step up his game to the level we all hope for.

I am amazed that people are surprised by this ranking!
It is as obvious as the nose on your face. If you look at it objectively, the phins are aweful at the position.
