Alright since CP10's contract expires this year, Henne will likely take over the starting QB spot. Then I thought, if CP10 would retire after this year or some other year, he'd make a great quarterback coach or offensive coordinater. He's smart enough to be a coach and future star, Henne, would love to have CP10 as one of his coaches. As long as Sparano is still in Miami, in my opinion I think it's a great idea, to bring him back as a coach.

He'll never do it...
He’s said that he would coach High School football like his dad, you can make more of a differance in kids lives and not have to cater towards primadonna QB’s.

why would a guy coming off a career season ponder retirement?
CP isn’t some career backup or washed up former first rounder. I think people are fooled by how articulate and humble he seems to be and then think he’d happily sit on a bench.
You don’t get to be an NFL starter for many years, as CP has, unless you are ultra competitive.
I’d bet that CP will be playing elsewhere next year instead – more than likely, in purple and yellow once the Favre revival tour, season 2, flops!
CP did great last season, but let's hope he does better this season.
I’m not saying he’s pondering retirement after his career season(s). If he doesn’ t get signed, which is highly unlikely, he could ponder retirement. But I hope he doesn’t.
I think we should re-sign him, and if Henne isn’t that great, CP’s our starter again. But if Henne is great, we should trade him to a team that really needs a, smart, competative, and accurate QB. We’d get a high draft pick for the trade.
If he doesn’t get re-signed, like natalya said, he will most likely be in purple and yellow if they have no QB.
Greg Camarillo is the next Wes Welker.

he was amazing in college, and just didn’t have the right physical requirements for NFL play, but he’s still a brilliant mind and a total X’s and O’s nerd. I think he would make a great coach.

But I’m with Nat on this one. No way the guy retires if he has even remotely as good a year this year as he did last. If the Fins don’t re-sign him, somebody will.
This all depends upon what happens this year. If he has another bang up year, leads the Fins back to the post-season… who’s to say Henne’s definitely the starter next year? I guess a lot of it will have to do with Henne’s development as well. You don’t just hand him the starting gig over a vet just because he might be good.
Bottom line is, if CP10 has another great season- we could do worse than him as the starter next year. Just throwing that out there.
