Dolphins sign Tyrone Culver to contract extension
The PBP learned that safety Tyrone Culver signed a two year contract extension last month - a deal that will keep Culver in Miami through 2011. The new deal will pay Culver $1.1 million in 2010 and $1.25 million in 2011.
Culver is an excellent special teams player and saw a lot of action as the team's third safety last year in passing situations. He and rookie Chris Clemons will likely be Miami's two backup safeties in 2009.

I would assume
that this definitely means Culver makes the team. Hopefully they dont try to put Clemons on the practice squad. He’ll definitely be snatched up. Hmm, for some reason that sounds sexual.
