Alpha5 Update....

There's a few of you in this family that wanted to know the prognosis on my son's broken wrist.

Thanks to all the well wishes, get well thoughts and the prayers offered in his behalf, I am happy to tell that he will not need surgery. The bone was reset and a cast was applied. I thank all of you!!

If there's anytime I can be of assistance, just call.

PS: I hope this was not wrong Mattty, in placing this here.

If so, my apologies. And I will gladly bear the heat. But if not, then a special thanks to you for this allowance!

Yeah, that was a treat....

… and what was really good, was the doc playing a joke on him.

The doc looked at the x-rays after resetting the bone, looked at my son with a serious look…. and said, “i’m sorry, but we have to reset it again.” Alpha5 responds, “YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING”, with a look of absolute shock and fear. Of course the doc said he was joking, but WOW, I think restraints would have come into play if it was for real… LOLOLOL

great news!

my 8 yr old nephew just broke his leg, and when they x-rayed it they found a bone abnormality that will require surgery to fix. but he has to let the break heal (cast for 6 weeks) before they can do surgery, and then cast him for another 6 weeks. poor kid gets his whole summer ruined. it is really hard on kids, having stuff like that happen. I’m glad Alpha minor is not gonna hafta deal with that.

I'm sorry to hear that about your nephew...

… it is tough… especially if it’s not because of haphazrd activity kids do… but when it’s something birth or something like that. Kinda(?) good they found the problem for your nephew early. Patience seems key there, as he recovers…
