White was wild high most of the practice. On one throw, he hit the golf cart carry Dolphins football czar Bill Parcells. The cart was parked five yards behind the end zone. Parcells realized he was in the line of fire and moved the cart.

I ust dont get it, and if someone can explain it to me I would love to know. Has any team ever really won it all with a QB who is not as accurate or whatnot but can run the ball? I personally do not like the pick of Pat White at all. Yes he may add a new wrinkle to the WC formation, however you would have to have him as a starter for it to really work. If he is only brought in on WC plays it ruins the suprise effect of the formation. So he would have to be listed as a wr or rb for it to really work out as it should. I just do not believe that a running QB who is average at the QB position is better then a strong accurate QB.

i agree with you opinion about a running QB who is not accurate
IMO, that is basically Vick, who I never cared for because of that exact reason.
However, I do NOT agree with you about White….. yet. By all accounts, he has the talent and arm strength to be a very successful passing QB. And if you have a passing QB who can run, that’s different. And I guarantee you that this is the type of QB that Ireland thinks he has in White.
A few mini camps don’t mean nuthin. We won’t begin to have an idea of what we have in him until preseason.

Vick was a much more highly touted version of that type of QB, except he was bigger, a lot faster and had a stronger arm, but he will get his chance to prove us critics of him wrong, as you say, training camp hasn’t even started yet.
