the time when cops beat my brothers head with a flashlight right in front of me…..or the many times ive been pulled over….got not tickets….but because im with a black person and im hispanic they feel the need to search my car- sad to say but very true. “fuck the cops” statement is rough i admit…..but from what ive seen and what ive been through its really not an over the top statement. Sounds like we grew up in two different neighborhood. Sorry if that bothers you or anyone else because im sure one of you guys know a good cop here and there. And I do have family in the military….saying that cops arent racists is more of an over the top statement IMO
I agree that there are many asshole cops
that go over the top with their authority, but it’s one of the most difficult jobs to do, it’s completely thankless, and it’s extremely dangerous. I lose some respect for the guys who use the badge to just harass people, or don’t do real “police work” just pull over enough people every month to make numbers, but most of them I find are good guys.
Plus, I kind of get defensive when people rag on cops, because a cop that I knew was shot and killed because he became a bit too friendly during his traffic stops. That’s usually the reason they are so, I guess, “combatitive” during stops, because at any moment the guy you pull over could pop one off on you.

let’s see you do a better job. People always get mad when the cops fuck with em, but don’t realize that police officers are the reason we all don’t get robbed or killed on a daily basis.

Miami Dolphins defensive end Randy Starks was arrested and charged with aggravated battery early Sunday morning after bumping his slow-moving truck into an officer who was trying to stop him on Ocean Drive, according to The Miami Herald.
Here’s what happened, according to a police report obtained by the newspaper:
Starks was driving a black freight-liner through bumper-to-bumper traffic around midnight when an officer noticed there were 13 people in the four-person vehicle, including a woman sitting on his lap.
The officer walked up to the car and knocked on the side window; Starks kept driving. Starks finally stopped when the officer knocked on the side door. Then the car accelerated, causing the vehicle to hit the officer and pinned him against against a vehicle in the another lane.

Police say Starks kept slowly moving forward even as the officer was beside the truck. They say Starks swerved the vehicle slightly, hitting the officer in the chest and pinning him against another vehicle.

it was raining yesterday….I imagine he just thought it would be a quick trip to wherever they were going..and an accident in the rain stopped traffic making the lady on his lap A LITTLE easier for the cops ON FOOT to see!
i dunno if i believe he tried to hit the cop…im willing to bet the girl tried to jump off his lap and steared the car that way…just a hunch.
