OG Thomas Suffers Another Injury
Well the health of the o-line is already in question. With Justin Smiley and Donald Thomas still recovering from injuries suffered last season - and Jake Grove rarely making it through a full season unscathed - another injury has been reported. And it's to Donald Thomas. Again.
Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports that OG Donald Thomas - the second year pro that was lost for the season in 2008 after a Lisfranc injury suffered in the season opener versus the Jets - has torn a pectoral muscle during a recent workout.
Pro Footbal Talk says he will miss all of training camp but could be back for the season opener.

Holy S%$T
Damn, what’s this dude’s deal….Won’t a torn pec keep him out for the whole season????

I think it depends
on the severity of the tear. If he requires surgery then he’ll probably start the season on the PUP list. But Florio (through Caplan) says that the team expects him back for the regular season. So perhaps it isn’t a complete tear or something. I know when a player tears one during the season he is almost always done for the year. I’m sure the beat writers will have more soon.

At this point you just cant count on the guy............
you gotta take him playing as a bonus….when u look at it hes still a late rd pick with 1/2 a game under his belt….so h has about 24minutes more football played in the nfl than Andrew Gardner…
anyone else see Jason Taylor is working as a long snapper??! Jesus…..talk about the boss coming back as the dishwasher dude.

JT has always been the back up long snapper
and with this regime, the more you can do the more valuable you are

yeah and I have been expecting them to find someone else for the job
we are tying up a spot with Denney, and that’s all he does.

I dont
expect him to be around at the end. every spot is pretty valuable and Sparano wasn’t too happy at the end of the season with him.

Brandon Frye was playing RG in place of Thomas after Thomas left the practice bubble after stretching. The last update was at 10:32 AM today.

I feel bad for the guy....
I don’t think he was ever injured out of college and he can’t even make it to week 2 in the NFL 100% healthy

here's to him
getting healthy prior to the start of the season.

That's probably why
J.D. Quinn was signed.

There's that Quinn again............ who is this guy?
When I saw Quinn on someone’s list, I thought it was a typo? Thought they were dreaming for a Brady Quinn.
Now I see it’s some dude on the offensive line. And it seem the line is getting more and more offensive.

It's up to (J.D.) Quinn
…to get his you-know-what-together now that he has this chance. Kind of like Davone Bess leaving his baggage behind and making the roster last year.
