In honor of Jason Taylor's return to Miami, this week's video time will be dedicated to #99. The video below is from his 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year season. It was week nine in Chicago when Taylor helped lead the 1-6 Dolphins over the 7-0 Bears. Two of the game's biggest plays were courtesy of JT:

Oh, and the AFC East-around…… excellent event.

I don’t think there’s gonna be a problem having JT and Porter on the field at the same time. If JT makes half the plays of yore, that’ll be enough.

I remember sitting in Applebees watching this game

With my Marino jersey jumping up for joy on the interception

However the Bears fans in the room (all of them) were not too pleased with the play or my celebration

I was at that game

sitting in the season tickets holders section. In a stadium that seats like 66k, there couldn’t have been more than a couple hundred fins fans there and we were louder than the Bears fans. As great as it is to be at a phins home game when they win, it is even better to be at an away game. To have thousands of fans pissed at you is a great feeling!

Taylor was an absolute beast that game. Thanks Matty! Great Memories!

i remeber...

this and the orande gadsen catch (hauled in over the infield against the Jets) were the 2 greatest Miami Dolphin plays i have ever seen. Maybe Lamar Smith scoring a td to cap 203 yards and the win vs the colts in the playoffs.
