POD Mock Draft...Could use your help.

Hey guys, I chose the Phins for the Pride of Detroit Mock and was wondering who you guys think the dolphins should take at 25. I have been been focusing on recievers (nicks or heyward bey) and LBs (Cushing, Matthews, Sintim) but I also am wondering if you feel there is a need at CB, especially with the possibility that Vontae Davis falls. let me know everything, who you want, who you dont and who you would love to fall to 25...Thanks

Snatch him. I believe Matty would agree with that, and probably even still if those NFLDB reports about failed drug tests were true.

Which they’re supposedly not, so it likely still stands.

I also agree with it.

If I’m picking in that draft, I look for Larry English next. If he lands to 25, snatch him up. If he doesn’t, I say Darius Butler. If he’s not there, then go receiver (solely because you probably can’t trade up or down in your mock). Hakeem Nicks is my pick there.

Of course, that’s just my personal preference. Everyone has a different spin on it. Others will say to take any USC LB if they fall that far. Or take a Kenny Britt, maybe a Sean Smith. I just can’t agree, value-wise.

I agree with Dave

I think it’s fair to say our biggest need is at OLB, CB, and WR in no particular order. Now i think the WR position and CB position is pretty deep on the other hand i dont think OLB is contrary to what others believe.

If Im going line backer I have to agree with Dave i really like English, he may need some time to develope but I think he will be a very good player at the next level.Let me say I’m also very intrigued with Lawerence Sidbury out of richmond but i think he cuold be taken later.
On the other hand if you decide to go WR i think NIcks is going to be difference maker in the league. if you decide to go CB Im not sold on Vontae at corner( he may be a better fit at saftey ala Antrelle rolle) i would take Butler.

no particular order...........what???????

there is a particular order……check out any interviews with people in the dolphin family and they will tell you………. CB first……… we also need a WR bad…….but they are looking at mid to late for that…… then NT, and linemen on both sides……. i have yet to hear or read of anyone besides the people in this site put a priority on OLB….. yes, we need to address it but….. mid to late at the most……..

in 21 days you will be proved wrong

you don’t draft this first second ect you know what you need you look at board and take BPA in one of your needs IF two players rated simular/same you probaly take biggest need, Read Jeff I’s interview he thinks wr group is good as is all he mentioned was depth mentioning Teddy and Cam as #1 and #2 recievers. If any of 6 or 7de/lb are there at 25 it will be the pick

25th pick - Clay Mathews LB USC
44th pick - Alphonso Smith cb Wake Forest
56th pick - Clint Sintim LB Virginia
86th pick - Fili Moala DT USC
