I don't think the pot
is a big deal, although they should be smart enough to hold off for about a month prior to testing…but the steroids…well….thats a diff story

Oh Percy. . .
Seriously- its a known fact you are going to get drug tested. . . just wait until AFTER you pee in the cup at the very least.
As for steroids- that is beyond stupid and just downright ugly. Cushing has been rumored to be on steroids since HS though, and people started questioning Clay after all the weight gain. . . I hope none of it is true really b/c that would be a shame.

Yeah really think about it pot stays in your system for about a month unless you drink a ton of water a day and depending on what roids you take can last in the system for months up to a year
pretty stupid sh!t to do just a few weeks away from the biggest day of your lives
Ahhhh Ta Ta Ta Ta Bye Bye Foy518
Vontae does
seem that stupid to me unfortunately.
This is likely a hit to Cushing’s and Mathews’ stock..but perhaps now Vontae does actually drop to us.
I think that they will get into the NFL
and have better masking agents. They will be fine.

Just note that these reports come from NFLDraftBible.com
And no other source is reporting this.

Rotoworld makes a good point that teams could possibly circulate these rumors in hopes of a player falling to them in the draft – a la Dan Marino back in ’83.
As for Cushing, like Gator said, I’ve heard roid rumors about him since he was a star at Bergen Catholic here in Jersey. So I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was true.
Roids are in our water!!!
or at least it’s in ice at Jenks or Bar A… (local shore references, sorry)
maybe it’s just in our 10lb tomatoes…
Hey Matty,
any news on Brian Toal?…I see him on some draft boards but I haven’t heard of him being a late round consideration.

I said it
Clay Matthews was a 160 lb walk on Frosh in USC, I like his blood line, but was nervous about this.
I would not take a guy who uses roids

I read the report
Right now it is speculation, so I retract my statement until confirmed. However why would they lie about this.

I dont care who you are you dont go from weighing 160 pounds to 240 plus without doing roids or test that is a fact

I agree,
what the crud is wrong with these people!??!!

Louis Castillio (However you spell it)
the DE from the Chargers, used roids to recover from a shoulder injury when at Northwestern. It was discovered, a little earlier than this, but after the combine. He wrote a letter to every NFL team, apologizing and take the blame. He said he would never make the mistake ever again, and he was picked in the middle to late first round and has been great for them…
Right now I just have a bad feeling about taking one of the two USC LB’s.
However if the Fins pass on them, they get picked later and have no other roid problems and do well than I feel like poop

Finally, I have gotten word from two good sources that Florida receiver Percy Harvin and Illinois cornerback Vontae Davis are about to see their stocks plummet for “character concerns” that would just about eliminate them from being considered options for the Dolphins with pick No. 25.
The one thing the Trifecta has been very clear on is they don’t want “druggies, divas, and players with character concerns” because they could create a toxic mix inside the locker room.
Of course this is Omar so it’s pure speculation.
Troubling News for Trojan Family...
As I come from a family full of Trojans, I have been a huge fan of both Clay Matthews and Brian Cushing for a long time, and, if this news is true, is really upsetting. Supposedly, BC and CM were randomly tested through their whole USC careers, but if they beat these tests it raises red flags around the integrity of our whole program.
While MAYBE they only started using drugs after they left school, that seems pretty unlikely b/c they haven’t changed much in body type since they left us.
I really hope this report turns out to be bogus or a late April fools joke, b/c Trojans fans are not feeling to hot right about now.
