Dolphins Draft "Smart"

According to Dave Hyde of the sun-sentinel the players drafted by the dolphins scored close the highest, per their respective positions, on the wonderlic.

I guess this makes the Dolphins choices "smart".

Maybe this means the front office places just as much an emphasison intelligence as athletic ability.

The quicker they learn the playbook the quicker that can start reacting instead of thinking on the field. This should help them make a quicker contribution to the teams success!!!

It’s still nice to talk about how high they scored instead of talking about how they low they scored. It means nothing but you can always use it in an argument by saying “hey, at least he didn’t score a 3 on the Wonderlic”

Not instructive by itself

but indicative of a larger philosophy of drafting intelligent players.

Also helped that we didnt draft a pass rusher… those are usually morons.
