Steal of the Draft
Pat White... he could not have fallen into a better situation. and neither could the Dolphins. Pat White is the absolute perfect player to be in our Wildcat formation. This offseason I have been screaming for Mike Vick. Sure Pat might not be as fast, or have as strong of an arm, but he is quick and a smarter on field player than Vick. Too add to our "trickaration" in the backfield, we not only have added more speed, but an arm too.
To put it bluntly, there is nothing we won't be able to do out of our Wildcat formation next year. Just have too many weapons.
I don't necessarily agree with our later round picks, big but slow recievers, but besdies that, we have turned our offense from disaster from a few years back, to something many fans will want to watch week in week out.

We are gonna put some defensive coordinators through some serious hell
We just have too many options now. They need to cover the run and the deep pass in the wildcat now. The one thing though is that Pat White needs to put on a little weight if he wants to be able to run up the middle.
Ted Ginn is the man.
At first I didnt like the pick
The more I think about the better it gets……..this is proof how important the wildcat offense is too this team, so much so we used a high second round pick too take it to another level. I think Ronnie runs the wildcat well but add a QB to the mix and it opens up all types of possibilities………Just think how good Vick would have been if he had these coaches……..Vick in the wildcat would be crazy…….the 2nd day of the draft will be interesting……I dont have the same feeling I did last yr…….not sure if these guys are going to make the team. Cant wait to see who our UFA are………this is were the FO earns its money………..
i thought
that we coulda gotten him possibly in the 3rd round, which would make him even cheaper, thus making him more of a steal…but yea i am very excited for what is to come of this guys

Pat White
Pat White will be the starting QB for the Phins in the 2010 season. He was the best passer at the combine, he has an overhand release (Brees). He’ll go down in NFL history as the best passing/running QB to ever play. This guy has the “it” factor. This year he’ll man the Wildcat package and next year he will beat out the Chads.
you seem pretty confident about that
but i don’t think so…we have Henne, a guy that we have been developing to be our next qb…IMO White was brought in as a threat for the Wildcat and as a receiving threat, i don’t he will be our regular starting QB

That's your assumption
White can make all the NFL throws- unlike Pennington. He can also run – unlike Henne.
This is from Rotoworld:
Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland says Pat White was drafted to compete with Chad Henne and Chad Pennington to be the starting quarterback of the future in Miami.
Ireland does not believe White is a potential No. 1 or No. 2 receiver and is adamant that he will work as a quarterback. The Dolphins plan to use his skills at other positions including running the Wildcat formation, but they clearly have something bigger in mind. Henne remains the favorite to start in 2010. hmm well
let’s make a deal…if i am wrong you can call me out on it, and if you are wrong, i can call you out on it…i think Henne will be the future QB of this franchise, with White running the Wildcat and some other spot duty at QB, but not the starter

Well this means the end for Beck make room for Pat not to mention I think we should start Penny for only one pre-season game and let Henne and White go from there
