Miami Dolphins...Draft Winners???
I was just watching on ESPN, and they are covering the draft all night long. They always chose their winners and losers, and both James Hasty, and Pat Forde really loved the Dolphins draft. The more i think about it, the more on par i am with the draft the Dolphins have had so far. It's nice for a team which picked so late in the first round, with so many questions about our secondary, to be called a winner after day one in the draft. It's the type of change that we as fans love hearing about, especially in the national media. Not that we need their approval to justify our draft, but it's certainly good to hear, that these so called "experts" know that Parcells had his plan and stuck to his guns, and that we may be better off for years to come because of it. Anyone that has to question what we've done today, i point you in the direction of last year's draft. One the paid dividends immediately.
Here's to hoping that this one will miror, if not surpass last year's draft in terms of production, and results on the field!!!!
How do you all feel we did tonight????

Feeling good because....
I like all three. I like picking up the extra 5th too.
My only knock against the front office is they could have traded back a few spots and still got White. Some phinsiders don’t like White, but undeniably he adds another dimension to the offense, which to me adding another dimension is worth a second round selection.

So far so good....
I am still applauding the Indy swap.
I was not a big fan of picking up White either but the more I think about it the better I feel about the selection. The Ronnie to White to Penny bomb (semi) to Ricky sounds great to me.
I am disappointed that we didn’t trade Ronnie to stockpile (or for a certain Arizona WR) but meh.
I am hoping we keep stocking on defense and grab at least one WR and one RB. A NT would be great. Any half decent left on the board?

I was just relieved that we didn't have Sparano come on TV and start talking about
the whole Pat White family!

I don't put too much stock in what these guys say.
We’ll know in 2 or 3 years if we were a winner in this draft.

We just selected an OLB
J.L. Folsom of Big Sky’s Weber State. Question to you. Question to ANYONE!!! Why wasn’t this pick used on Lee Robinson, Alcorn State. I love to watch the Division II schools play – they are just as tough and nasty and hard-hitting as some of the prima donna’s in the BCS. He would have made their draft respectable. But, like everyone says, have faith. Oh, I can’t take this weekend. It’s not that I’m disappointed because I KNEW and even told people last year that this year (‘09) was the year we would be drafting playmakers. After the linemen last year to set the foundation, playmakers. But Robinson was there!!!! He’s a beast!!!!!
