Apparently Cleveland is making Braylon Edwards available: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ama85aB2bFM03iRapw9KWuY5nYcB?slug=jc-giantspursueedwards041409&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Hixon: (2008 stats) 43-596 2 TDs
Ginn: (2008 stats) 56-790 2 TDs
What about reuniting Chad Henne and Braylon Edwards?
The owner Stephen Ross (Michigan Alum) would be for it.
It would probably cost Miami: Ted Ginn and Joey Porter (I'm trying to save picks).
Would you do that trade? Would the Trio? Would Cleveland?
There are undoubtably Buckeye fans in Cleveland who like Ginn.
Mangini would love to have Porter chasing Ben R, Joe Flacco, and Carson Palmer around the pocket.
I think that Ginn catches the ball better than Braylon, costs less, and has a better attitude, but Braylon is definitely a bigger, more physical #1 receiver.
One way to replace Ginn: Miami drafts Johnny Knox in the fourth round and he competes with Anthony Armstrong to try to replace Ginn's speed.
What do you think?
