Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

This is a PFT story about Monroe attending last year's draft, but it also lists the 9 players that will attend the Draft in NYC.

Those 9 players are: Texas Tech WR Michael Crabtree, Wake Forest LB Aaron Curry, USC LB Brian Cushing, Kansas St. QB Josh Freeman, UVA OT Eugene Monroe, Texas DE Brian Orakpo, Ole Miss OT Michael Oher, Baylor OT Jason Smith, and Georgia QB Matt Stafford.

Who will be the last one left? And is there a Aaron Rodgers-esque freefall in the making?

Josh Freeman?

Is there a chance he goes top 10?

there's a chance he drops to round 2 lol

They said that they didn’t just invite top picks, but also players with nice stories… they also invited Sanchez, and he declined because he wants to be with family and friends in Cali.

I think Freeman will be the last man standing in the Green Room, since he’ll probably get scooped up right around pick 18-22..

The biggest thing I got out of this..

is that Cushing was invited. If there was any truth to the steroid test rumors, I don’t think the NFL would be bringing him to NYC. This, IMO, clears him of those accusations.

I'm surprised they invited him..

instead of Freeman and Sanchez (since he declined) they should’ve invited Raji and Everette Brown.

Speaking of Raji, what does it say that the NFL DIDN’T invite him?
