Clay Matthews Blazes to a 4.57 forty yard dash.
If it holds up, Clay Matthews was clocked in at a ridiculously fast (for a LB) 4.57 seconds in the forty. That is down from a mearly outstanding 4.67 seconds at the combine - and puts him just .01 seconds off of the benchmark set by top 5 pick Aaron Curry. He was also over a tenth of a second faster than oft injured teammate Brian Cushing.

well it was fun
thinking about him going to us at 25. This will almost cement him going in the top 20.
why would one 40 time vault him up that high?
Curry isn’t a top 5 pick because of his 40, it’s because years of gamefilm show him being a beast.
This shouldn’t change Matthews draft stock because it has no bearing on what the film shows.. If he was fast on film, nobody should be surprised that he ran fast in shorts, so it shouldn’t change how teams feel about him…

This is the man that needs to fall to #25
Cushings also looked good in his pro-day, any of the 3 USC lbs would be a huge score for us at 25 :)
25th pick - Clay Mathews LB USC
44th pick - Alphonso Smith cb Wake Forest
56th pick - Clint Sintim LB Virginia
86th pick - Fili Moala DT USC
yes they would
