T.O. in the AFC EAST next season...
But he might not be suiting up for who you think. Alex Marvez is reporting that he has landed in Buffalo, and that Buffalo is trying to work out a deal before he leaves their team facility. I have the link and will add it below. But first i want to ask all you fellow Phinsiders, how would you feel lining up against T.O. twice a year, and do you think this can help Buffalo. I say yes, and the only reason is that now, Lee evans will get fred up to make more downfield plays, and it would take one less man out of the box, cause teams would now have to double team him, and that would create running room for their RB's. To me, i could care less who we play against, i just think it is going to be fun to see Gibril and Yeremiah smash the SH!t out of him twice a year. Thoughts?

Who is fred and why does L Evans have to get him up?
lol Just kidding, thought you summed it up perfectly at the end." i could care less who we play against, i just think it is going to be fun to see Gibril and Yeremiah smash the SH!t out of him twice a year."

If that is true...
it makes getting a CB via FA or the draft that much more important. AFC East would have some very good WR’s. Moss, Welker, Owens, Evans. Facing those guys twice a year requires good CB’s.
Or........
a great pass rush with at least capable CB’s. I don’t think either of their QB’s is exactly established enough to deal with T.O. but it would make them tougher. I know we handled them twice last year but it always seems like Evans has at least a couple big plays against our D. Adding T.O. would hurt us I’m afraid. The trifecta had better figure out how to get a hard pass rush or improve the CB’s a bunch pretty damn quick.

we don't face our own receivers do we?

I would have T.O.
their main target then Evans. T.O. doesn’t get the separation he use too and never has been a displined route runner to begin with. QBs have always had a problem with him not being where he is suppose to be making them at times look back, Buffalo can have him :)

with the way our CB situation looking right now
i am shitting in my pants…Lee Evans destroys us on a consistent basis as it is already, and add T.O. who is a huge, physical and fast receiver, and i am getting pretty scared over here

Oh Boy..
We’re going to need some nice corners… I am now all out for signing McFadden (to a reasonable contract) and drafting another CB with one of our first 3 picks.
We already have to deal with Welker and Moss, and Evans always burns us, but now we have to face TO on the other side too…
It’s going to be interesting.

Interesting
I never expected the Bills to make a move like this.
I don’t know why people are only dooking their pants now?
We already knew we were going up against Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Roddy White, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning plus the regular AFC East crew. T.O. doesn’t help at all. That’s why I was really surprised when we let Goodie go.
CB anyone?

NICE PIC
I always hated that loud mouth…… now i cant wait to play him twice a year on the downward side of his career.. of coarse the CB needs to be upgraded hopefully with our first pick… But the moss / TO type WR’s aren’t the guys they were 5+ years ago.. We will CRUSH THEM ALL!!!!
A feeding frenzy is about to take place in the dirty south
there ya go.........thats the 'tude
plus…..he had the 2nd most dropped passes in the league last year with Romo…. you think Edwards is going to deliver the rock any better?

Yea..
Trent Edwards is the most unhappy player in the NFL right now, nothing good can come out of this. So infact it works out great for us :-D

aren't you glad
its not us? Why anyone would want this puke on our team baffles me. You don’t put this type of player on a rebuilding team that is finding its own identity and needs to keep their focus on the field.

Wilson is insane, he is taking a huuuge risk here and he knows it too that’s why he only offered a one year deal.

Something nobody is talking about
It’s a 1 year deal, and TO is all about his contract. So basically, he’s making a 1 year stop in Buffalo to audition himself for another contract with another team.
So would it surprise anyone if he’s on his best behavior for a season and tries to play out of his mind so he can go to a contender the following year? The guy is all about himself, he doesn’t care about a team, and all he’s looking for is a team that can give HIM money and get HIM a ring. I hope that he implodes Buffalo and flips out 3 weeks in after Edwards has been sacked more than he’s thrown to Owens, but I have a feeling he’ll be trying to prove (at least for one season) that he’s still a top player and has “matured.”
And really, if TO has a spectacular year, is that a bad thing? Dick Jauron will continue to be the coach because he “handled TO” and got the most out of him.. and we’re in good shape as long as Dick Jauron is coaching the Bills.
Here’s to the Bills keeping Jauron and losing Owens after this season.

Good points about Team Obliterator, btw despite all the drops, he leads all WRs in TDs last 3 years,(38) and is #2 all time.(139) No player i despise more. Romanowski #2.
